Babies Don't Come With Manuals
therapeutic support group for mOMs-to-be and MOMS with babies up to 24 months.
About the group
If you love your baby but feel overwhelmed and exhausted, or if you are pregnant and excited but nervous of the unknown- you are not alone!
Babies Don’t Come With Manuals is an opportunity where mothers and expectant mothers will have a safe place to talk realistically and honestly about the misconceptions, stressors, challenges, worries, and joys of motherhood in a non-judgmental and supportive environment.
With the support from trained therapists and members of the group, you will learn tools
and resources to navigate, adjust, and cope with being a mom or preparing to be a mom
while exploring topics such as:
Loving your baby, but not liking them all the time
Childcare and career options
Identity and role changes
Ways to manage sadness and anxiety
Breastfeeding and breastfeeding stigmas
Your body during pregnancy and after birth
The group meets two Saturdays a month from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. This is an open group-you may choose to join anytime and you may choose to attend one or all of the group sessions.
